προσφέρει παρουσιάσεις ενημέρωσης και εργαστήρια σχετικά με το
επάγγελμα, την επιστήμη και την εφαρμογή των θεραπειών μέσω τέχνης
προωθώντας πολυφωνικούς διαλόγους και γεφυρώνοντας τοπικές και
παγκόσμιες πτυχές της ψυχικής υγείας και της ευεξίας.



Art Therapists and Members Society (CARTA) The Art Therapists and Members Society was established in 2022. Since then, it has been providing guidance and support to young people, adults, older adults through the creative process by qualified art psychotherapists in Cyprus. Its mission is to propose policies and new laws for the establishment and state recognition of the Art therapy profession. In addition, to raise public awareness for the effectiveness of art therapy by working together with other services, creating information material, and organizing events and seminars. To collaborate with other organized groups in Art therapy/Psychotherapy abroad, as well as with other institutions and associations both within the country and internationally.
To represent Cyprus in corresponding European or International professional and scientific associations, unions, and conferences.
The Cyprus Art Therapy Association (СArTA) has engaged in numerous activities over the past two years, including:

Co-organized a festival dedicated to mental health, "Join the Therapeutic Journey of Arts 2021,2023)



Co-organized the 1st and 2nd Messy Play Festivals for young people in Limassol (2022, 2023).

Participated in Career & Pathway Days (2022, 2023), invited by the
Ministry of Education.


Participated in the "Run Aglantzia - For a Cause" marathon for mental health (2023).

Organized a creative experiential workshop on breast cancer awareness
(2023, 2024).



Participated in the 2nd European Art Therapy Federation conference, with a presentation and workshop in Latvia (2023).

Participated in the "Culture for All" conference on accessibility in
cultural spaces (2023).


Exhibited artwork to combat violence against women, invited by the Cyprus Association of Single Parents (2022).


Organized a training day for art teachers on art therapy for people
with disabilities (2023).


Delivered a workshop on the therapeutic use of art in special
education settings (2022-2023).

Presented a workshop on Art Therapy and ADHD at an event organized
by the Cyprus ADHD Association (2022).


Co-organized a conference for World Mental Health Day titled "Let’s Discover the Healing Power of the Arts" with local organizations in Nicosia in Limassol (2021).
